Congo Organic is the first certified organic coffee in the Nespresso Professional range from the Nespresso REVIVING ORIGINS* program. With the implementation of the AAA Program for Sustainable Quality™ and organic certification, we have developed a project encouraging environmentally friendly coffee production. This project includes the creation of nurseries, the strengthening of organic practices and the development of knowledge, with the aim of improving the quality of coffee and the know-how of local companies dedicated to coffee.

Origin
The volcanic soils abundantly nourished by the rains along the shores of Lake Kivu, in the eastern part of Congo, are the ideal terroir for the cultivation of Arabica. Following years of ongoing conflict and political instability, many plantations were abandoned, leaving small farmers exploiting only a small part of Congo's specialty coffee potential. Congo Organic remains a rare treasure.
Roasting
Congo Organic benefits from roasting separate. Both batches are roasted intensely and quickly. Only the first batch is roasted a little longer and a little more intensely in order to bring more of intensity to this coffee. The size of these particles is a little coarser than for a Original coffee, to make it better
Aromatic Profile
A creamy certified organic coffee with roasted cereal flavours, nutty and hazelnut aromas and a sweet and fruity taste. IN MILK DRINK The preparation of this coffee in Latte Macchiato version reveals its notes of biscuit and cereals, and perfects its balance.
