The dense and powerful character of this blend is enhanced by a washed Robusta from Guatemala. It reveals a finesse and subtlety not found in its unwashed version. Arabicas from Mexico and Latin America complete this blend to reveal subtle aromas.

Roasting

Intenso owes its dense character to its separate roasting. The long roast allows the washed Robusta from Guatemala to gain intensity, while balancing its bitterness and bolder aromatic notes. Shorter and darker, roasting Arabicas from Mexico and Latin America reduces acidity and brings out the aromatic notes of brown sugar.

Aromatic Profile

This Vertuo coffee owes its intensity and density to Robusta, which also adds thickness to the crema* of Fortado Decaffeinato coffee. Colombian Arabica, on the other hand, forges its unique character with notes of cocoa and oak wood.
